Deflatil is a Botavie food supplement made from seven plants, intended for people bothered by bloating, gas, and other digestive discomforts (acid reflux, heartburn). The formula aims to limit the fermentations that produce gas, as well as excess acidity that disrupts digestion.

Who is Deflatil for?

Although individual sensitivity varies considerably, we advise using Deflatil on a short-term basis, not exceeding 2 to 4 consecutive weeks.

Excessive and/or prolonged consumption may expose users to potentially serious side effects.

Prolonged use is not recommended in cases of high blood pressure, heart or kidney disorders (seek medical advice).

In case of persistent abdominal pain, blood in the stool, or ongoing digestive issues, consult a doctor: these signs require a diagnosis.

Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women or children.

Not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle.

How Deflatil works

Deflatil combines plants that, in the Unani Tradition, are used to support the work of the organs involved in digestion: clearing the stomach, supporting the liver and spleen, promoting digestive enzyme activity, and limiting the fermentations that produce gas.

It is this last action that distinguishes Deflatil from most other products. Deflatil acts at the source, where fermentation develops. Its effects are best felt over a course of treatment rather than within the hour following a meal.

Bloating and flatulence in brief:

Digestion is not always a smooth journey…

Intestinal bacteria break down (through fermentation in the colon) what our enzymes have not been able to digest, transforming them into various elements — some very useful for our body and colon health (fatty acids, vitamins) and others less so (gas)!

There is a problem when these episodes of gas evacuation become too frequent and are accompanied by significant, even painful, bloating.

Abundant gas production is often caused by poor absorption of carbohydrates (lactose from milk, fructose from certain fruits), complex sugars (raffinose from cabbage, asparagus and other vegetables), starches (potatoes, corn, wheat and cereals) and fibres (beans, peas, cereal bran).

In addition to a large amount of gas in the intestines, the feeling of bloating accompanied by pain may be due to irritable bowel syndrome or more serious intestinal problems. In this case, seek advice from your doctor.

The Unani approach

The Unani Tradition holds that eliminating symptoms is never the solution, and that good digestion is first and foremost based on good eating habits that optimise "the Terrain," whereas ultra-processed foods from modern industry weaken it. Digestive issues arise mainly when the energy of the stomach and spleen is deficient; conversely, when the stomach functions well, it produces energy and allows the spleen to play its full role. The organs involved in digestion are then better nourished and able to perform their role.

Dietary hygiene

To avoid overtaxing the stomach: avoid meals that are too large, too fast, too sweet, or too fatty, as well as snacking. Stop eating at least three hours before bedtime. Deflatil complements these habits, it does not replace them.

The recommended combination: Deflatil and DynOrgan

Deflatil and DynOrgan work at two different levels. DynOrgan supports the organs involved in digestion — liver, kidneys, spleen, pancreas, gallbladder — and promotes better transformation of food upstream; Deflatil acts on intestinal fermentations upstream.

Directions for use

In the initial phase, one capsule after each of the three meals, for 2 to 4 consecutive weeks depending on the case. Do not exceed three capsules per day or the duration of use without the advice of a healthcare professional. See precautions for use above.
