The Science of the Phoenicians...

Phoenician balm was created around 3000 BC in a region that corresponds to present-day Lebanon. The composition of this miraculous oil, concentrated in active ingredients, is inspired by a recipe from very ancient writings that contain references to oils and ointments used by the Phoenicians to heal abdominal hernias, which often afflicted sailors.

The science of the Phoenicians touched all fields, particularly medicine, where they excelled thanks to numerous plant-based remedies and ointments. To extract the active ingredients from plants, they perfected maceration and enfleurage techniques and developed an archaic form of distillation.

Plant extracts and resins
Made of oil, plants, and resins with astringent properties, Phoenician Balm tones and tightens abdominal muscles. This anti-inflammatory lotion also provides a feeling of relief and harnesses the active ingredients of no fewer than eight plants.
